'Remnants of a Conversation'

This piece is a little random, much like its random sizing! It was originally created off the back of what I thought something was and whilst I was painting it, my perspective of it, changed.

I actually loved making this one. It was originally meant to be my challenging piece and one I thought I'd struggle to get through. But in fact, I couldn't stop working on it. The more the meaning changed, the more I dove further into its creation.

It's a change from my typical still life. Remnants of a Conversation is what's left after coffee and cake friendship dates are finished!

At the time I thought it was marking the start of something but in reality, it marked the end of it instead. Which, I feel, makes this painting even more beautiful in my eyes.
